This past Saturday, we embarked on a scenic cruise aboard the Lu Lu Belle, a tour boat operating out of the Port of Valdez in Alaska’s Prince William Sound. Captain Fred and his crew took us on an amazing journey to observe the region’s abundant wildlife and stunning natural landscapes.
Our voyage treated us to up-close encounters with sea otters, sea lions, colorful puffins, tidewater glaciers, and a somewhat illusive humpback whale. It was a day filled with amazing sights that we’re excited to share with you in our photo gallery.
The Lu Lu Belle is a classic tour boat that has been plying the waters of Prince William Sound for over 20 years. Captain Fred calls it the “Limousine of Prince William Sound.” Its comfortable interior and spacious outdoor viewing decks provided an excellent platform to take in the incredible natural beauty of Valdez and Prince William Sound.
