Season One – A Brief Review

Sitting here in Santa Fe, looking out at those wide open New Mexico skies, it is hard to believe that we have just completed nearly five months of full-time RV life. During that time, we’ve driven about 10,000 miles, added 12 National Parks and 2 new states (Oregon & Washington), and became the owners of a brand new transmission for our truck (under warranty, thankfully). Here is a map showing our travels:

  • Overnight at Briceland Vineyards (yes, more wine tasting) – we heartily recommend their Petit Verdot

  • Redwoods National & State Parks
  • The bear that came to visit us at Klamath River RV Park
  • Bay Point Landing – Our first “posh” RV park (we will be back, for sure!)
  • Oregon State Parks, including South Beach State Park, Fort Stevens State Park, Memaloose State Park, and Lapine State Park. But really, all of them. California could learn a lot from these amazing state parks!

  • The great people at Ultimate Airstreams and Airstream Adventures in Clackamas, Oregon
  • Crater Lake National Park
