We went to visit David’s parents at their second home in Rancho Mirage, California. We stayed at the very posh Emerald Desert RV Park (highly recommended!). On the way back, while traveling through the California desert, we happened upon Roy’s Motel and Cafe along Route 66 in Amboy. Here is a little vignette of our visit.
